|  Ace Boggess 
 Ace Boggess, a poet, playwright, and novelist, was born on October 8, 1971. Boggess is a native of Huntington, West Virginia. Boggess graduated from Marshall University and obtained his law degree from West Virginia University College of Law. He is the author of Socrates Said, a Play (Grimpenmire Press, 1996), and poetry chapbooks Desire's Orchestra (Three-Legged Dog Press, 1998) and Compost Heap (Naked Press, 1994). His poetry has appeared in scores of poetry journals. Boggess's latest collection of poetry, The Beautiful Girl Whose Wish Was Not Fulfilled, was published by highwire press in 2003. Ace
