William Ingram

(1927- )

William Ingram was born at Columbus, Georgina on June 22, 1927. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in 1953, and his LL. B. from the Atlanta Law School in 1974. Before taking up the study of law, Ingram was a credit analyst for the 1st National Bank in Atlanta (1953-1955), a credit investigator for Dun & Bradstreet in Atlanta (1956-1957), a Veterans Administration realty officer in Jacksonville, Florida (1962-1964), and then was with the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
