Norton Keys, an attorney, was born at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on August 2, 1893, the son of Luther Morton Keys and Elfleda (Clark) Keys. He attended Shields Community College, Maryville College, and the University of Oklahoma. His poetry appeared in various newspapers; he was also a writer of short stories. At the time of the biographical sketch on which we have establish this webpage, Keys lived in Long Beach, California.

Spring

The earth today is overflown
    With Supremacy of God,
As life is manifest fullblown
    With Bloom, upon the sod.

And the world with this array
    Is God's Triumphal Spell,
Which has entirely swept away
    Any doubt, for infidel.
