William Dunham Snow

William Snow was born at Webster, Massachusetts. He was a graduate of the Columbia Law School in 1876 and practiced law in New York City. He was the author of several anti-slavery poems and contributed to magazines. Snow "invented a successful carburettor, a gas-regulator, a themostatic apparatus for the maintenance of equal heat for furnace, and a system for facsimile telegraphy."
