Edward A. Stokes Stokes is referred to as a lawyer and a poet in
Maxine N. Lurie et.al., Encyclopedia of New Jersey 784 (Rutgers University Press, 2004). Stokes was born after 1860 or thereabouts and at one time was owner of the William Trent House which he donated to the city of Trenton in 1929. |
