Jean La Rue Burnett Jean La Rue Burnett was b orn in Canandaigua, New York and contiuned to live there. He graduated from the Canadaigua Academy in 1889 and then, after preliminary study, entered the Law Department of the University of Michigan where he graduated in 1892. He was admitted to practice in Michigan iin 1892, and admitted to the Bar of New York on March 30, 1893. He practiced law in Canadaigua.
