A. Sherman Christensen A. Sherman Christensen was a lawyer in Provo, Utah. He became the first Mormon to be appointed a U.S. Federal District Court Judge. Judge Christensen, with Supreme Court Chief Justice Warren Burger, and former Solicitor General Rex Lee, founded the first American Inn of Court in 1980. Christensen graduated from Brigham Young University in 1927. He served as president of the Utah State Bar Association in 1951-1952. Poetry A.
