| Francis Barnard Clark, Jr. Francis Clark was born at Augusta, Georgia on November 7, 1850. He was a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute (class of 1870) and obtained his B.L. degree from the University of Virginia in 1872. He was admitted to practice in 1875. He served as state solicitor, Mobile County, from 1880 to 1886. In 1879 he was special reporter for the Alabama Supreme Court. He lived in Mobile, Alabama all his life and died there in 1896.
