William Michael Fogarty "William Michael Fogarty was born in Lima, Ohio, in 1873 but moved to Indianapolis at an early age. He began working as a messenger boy and graduated from the Benjamin Harrison Law School. In 1895 he married Ida Justine Smith and they had nine children. Fogarty was one of the original organizers of the Fidelity Trust Company in 1906 of which he was president for many years. He retired from that company in 1923 but continued to practice law in Indianapolis until his death on Dec. 15, 1936." [Donald E.
