Gregory J. Hobbs, Jr. Greg Hobbs was appointed to the Colorado Supreme Court in 1996. Before joining the court he was a senior partner at the law firm of Hobbs, Trout & Raley, where he served primarily as general counsel to the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District. Hobbs graduated from the University of Notre Dame where he studied history, and then received his law degree from the University of California, Berkely. Prior to the private practice of law, Hobbs served as an enforcement attorney for the regional office of the EPA and in the Colorado Attorney General's Office.
