William Walton Hoskins William W. Hoskins, an editor, minister, and lawyer was born in Lexington, Mississippi. He studied at the University of Mississippi in 1872; edited newspapers in Lexington (the Lexington Advertiser) and Corinth (the Corinthian). Hoskins died in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
