Leon Hühner Leon Hühner, a lawyer and author, was born in Berlin, Germany on September 18, 1871. He was educated at both public and private schools in New York city. He received his B.A. degree from the College of the City of New York in 1890 and then M.A. and LL.B. degrees from Columbia in 1893. For many years, Hühner was curtor of the American Jewish Historical Society. He wrote extensively on Jewish history in the United States.
