George Jameson "GEORGE JAMESON, and Mary E., his wife, were both born in Wayne County—he on the 15th of November, 1839, she on April 25, 1840. His parents are Joshua M. and Rachel Jameson, and she is a daughter of Samuel and Sabina McClure. Mr. Jameson has two brothers, George and Abbon. Mrs. Jameson has one brother, Alfred McClure, and three sisters, Jemima, Susan and Caroline. They have one child, Charles E." Jameson took up residence in Lima, Ohio in 1867. He then spent two years at Ann Arbor, Michigan where he graduated from the Law Department of Michigan University in 1867. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar and then took up residence at Lima, Ohio where he practiced for 16 years. Jameson later moved to Ada, Ohio and took up the practice of law in Hardin County.
