J.A. Kerr "took the scientific course in the National normal school of Lebanon, Ohio, after which he entered and went through the law department of the Michigan University. In 1878 Mr. Kerr opened a law office in Tippecanoe City, Ohio, where he has ever since pursued a lucrative practice. In 1889 he was elected a judge of the common pleas court of the country. The poems of Judge Kerr have appeared in the Chicago Current and the leading periodicals of America." [Thos. W.
