George Lynn George Lynn was born February 7, 1822 in England. He was a journalist in Lockport, Illinois for thirty-five years. He moved to Hastings, Nebraska where he eventually took up the practice of law. He is credited in Poets and Poetry of Nebraska as being "the author of a number of meritorious poems."
