Columbus Moïse

Columbus Moïse, the son of Columbus Moïse, was born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1855; he died in Kansas City, Missouri in 1895. Moïse served as city attorney of East Las Vegas, New Mexico, as regent of the Territorial College, master in chancery of the United States Court of New Mexico, and chief justice of the territorial supreme court of New Mexico. He wrote short stories and poems, and was a contributor to Harper's Magazine, Century Magazine, and other periodicals, under the nom de plume "C. Esiom."
