William D. Morange

William Morange was born in Albany, New York, in 1930. He was educated at the Albany Academy and St. John's College, Fordham. Morange worked principally as an estates lawyer. Although widely recognized as a poet, he would not allow his poetry to be published in a collected work. Morange died, November 5, 1895 after falling down an elevator shaft at the Argus Building which he visited almost daily.
