Michael O'Brien Michael O'Brien was an attorney, poet, and writer of Tampa, Florida. His poems, "Seductio ad Absurdum" and "The Smnambulist" appear in Poetry Venture (in the early 1970s) and in other poetry magazines. He was also the author of short stories. He graduated from Notre Dame University and obtained his J.D. from the University of Florida. O'Brien, a native of New York, lived most of his life in Florida. In 1971, he began to associate himself with Poetry Venture (a semi-annual periodical founded in 1968) based in St. Peterburg, Florida. Beginning with the seventh issue of the publication, he took on duties as associate editor. |
