John R. O'Malley We learned of O'Malley's poetry by way of his poem, "Summer Solved," in the American Bar Association Journal. John O'Malley was born in Kansas City, Missouri on April 9, 1948. He obtained his A.B. degree from St. Louis University in 1970 and his law degree from St. Louis in 1973. After law school he served as Assistant City Counselor in St. Louis, and as City Prosecutor of Grandview, Missouri from 1979 to 1989.
