Arthur H. Ortmeyer "Arthur H. Ortmeyer was born in Evansville, Ind., in 1885. He graduated from the University of Michigan Law School and afterward worked in the insurance business in Evansville. He later moved to Indianapolis where he was associated with the Nation Life Insurance Company. He was married and was the father of one son. Ortmeyer wrote light and humorous verse which he often translated into Braille. He died on May 27, 1943." [Donald E.
