Patty Leigh Parsons Patty Parsons was a poet and labor lawyer. She died in August, 2002, at the age of 48. She was born in Salisbury, Maryland and raised in Pocomoke City. Parsons attended the University of Baltimore Law School. She was a partner at Abato, Rubenstein & Abato in Baltimore, but left the firm on several occasions to practice on her own.
