William Reese Scott

William R. Scott was born on April 5, 1907, in Media, Pennsylvania. He received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1928 and his J.D. from Penn in 1938. He studied at Harvard University in 1947. Scott was an attorney in Doylestown, Pennsylvania early in his career and then worked for Scott Paper Company, serving as vice-president and general counsel, member of the board of directors, and then as a member of the executive committee of the company's board of directors. He also served as a member of the board of directors of governors of Brunswick Pulp and Paper Company.

Scott died on February 18, 1996. His last residence, according to Social Security records, was Amherst, Massachusetts.
