Harry B. Stein

North Carolina

Harry B. Stein was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina and attended school in Fayetteville. He obtained his A.B. and LL. B. degrees from the University of North Carolina, and studied law at the University of Michigan Law School. He was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 1938.

Stein owned a clothing firm, was president of a radio station, served on the board of directors of a building and loan association and was director of the North Carolina Merchants Association. He was a student of history and painting, particularly the Italian Renaissance and the life and work of Leonardo da Vinci. [Source: dustjacket, Harry B.
