Thomas James Trussler "Born in Fayette County, Ind., on Feb. 11, 1838, Thomas James Trusler attended Miami University. He served as school examiner in Fayette County for several years and practiced law in Liberty and Connersville before coming to Indianapolis in 1856, where he served as a deputy in the Secretary of State's office for eight years. He established a law practice in Indianapolis and for fourteen years he had the responsibility of preparing the acts of the Indiana Legislature for the printer. He died on Mar. 5, 1909." [R. E.
