John F.C. Waldo "John F. C. Waldo . . . was an attorney, historian, author, and public speaker. He was City Attorney of New Orleans (1904-1920), Knights of Pythias Grand Chancellor, and president of the First Unitarian Church. He was president of the Prison Reform Association; director of the Charity Organization Society; patron of the Order of the Eastern Star; and member of the Shakespearean Society of New Orleans.
