Andrew Wallace "Andrew Wallace was a native of Milford. At the age of 21 he decided upon the profession of law, entered Dartmouth College, and after five years' study, was admitted to the Hillsborough County Bar, practising at Hancock. Subsequently he removed to Amherst, and for many years served as Clerk of the Hillsborough County Courts. He represented the town in the legislature, and was its delegate in the State Convention of 1850, for the revision of the Constitution. He died in 1856, at the age of 74 years . . . ."
