| Samuel H. Weissbard Samuel H. Weissbard was born in Brooklyn in 1947. His career involved both the practice of law and real estate. He attended Case Western Reserve University, and graduated from George Washington University Law School where he served as editor-in-chief of the law review. He held partnership in various law firms in Washington, DC and southern California. Late in his career he joined Makar Properties in Newport Beach as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Weissbard was a poet and a sailor. He is survived by his wife, Annette and her son, Shane; as well as his two sons, Andrew Joshua and David S.
