Allen Wood Allen Wood was born in Tennessee and migrated to Corpus Christi, Texas after he obtained his law degree in 1934. He practiced law in Corpus Christi for over sixty years and was a district court judge. Judge Wood's poetry, held in the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi collection of his papers, includes: Moody Shadows (1962); Muted Echoes (1970); For Exiles (1973); Last Sunset (1974); Blunt Arrows (1979); Bottom Lines (1987); and Wandering Lines (1993). None of these books of poetry are listed in the OCLC database, and as of May 31, 2008, there were no copies to be found on abebooks.com.
